Chalonda Smith, PhD. offers a unique blend of cross-functional skills for a diverse population of clients ranging from school age to adults in a variety of settings, including Medical, Residential, Juvenile Justice, and Community Based Care Centers, resulting from more than seventeen years of experience while demonstrating broad strengths and accomplishments in public and private sectors. Dr. Smith has participated in the development of the Surgeon General’s agenda on Children’s Mental Health in Washington, D.C. (2000). She was a committee member for the Residential Committee for Child Welfare League of America. She realized the benefits of advocating for people on a broader scope by changing policies and assisting agencies to change communities.

Chalonda Smith received her PhD. from Walden University in Public Administration with a concentration in Law and Public Policy. Dr. Smith is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Pi Alpha Alpha (National Honor Society of Public Administration), and Golden Key International Honor Society.
